Frisch’s Big Boy Celebrates Founder’s Day May 3

PERRYSBURG – May 1, 2013 – Calling all Big Boys! On Friday, May 3, Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurants will celebrate Founder’s Day by offering a FREE Big Boy sandwich to any customer who visits one of the family restaurants dressed as Big Boy.

We want everyone to experience Frisch’s Founder’s Day celebration. It’s all about having fun and building awareness that the Big Boy brand is contemporary and here to stay. The Frisch’s franchise namesake and founding father David Frisch was born in Cincinnati on May 3, 1902.  He opened the first Frisch’s Big Boy in Cincinnati, OH in 1948.  In 1955, Toledo brothers Milton & David Bennett purchased the franchise rights to build and operate Frisch’s Big Boy restaurants in Northwest Ohio.

Bennett Enterprises owns and operates 13 family-style restaurants with drive-thru service under the name Frisch’s Big Boy in 7 counties of Northwest, Ohio.  Bennett’s Main Office is located at 27476 Holiday Lane, Perrysburg, Ohio.
